Blondshell (aka Sabrina Teitelbaum from Los Angeles) rose to prominence in 2023 with her very good self-titled debut album, but she looks set to sweep up a whole load of new fans with this release. ‘If You Asked For A Picture’ is chockfull of big indie-rock sounds that have big pop melodies. I mean, someone like Sabrina Carpenter or Taylor Swift would kill for these tunes. Add in pointed and humorous lyrics and you’ve got a clutch of songs to cherish. DP
