Trouble is Farage, Trump and all the moaners about net zero and COP see wildfires and think they “happen all the time” and that the increasing number of freak weather events are “normal”. Hugely frustrating/annoying that climate change denial is now standard for anyone right of centre, a line they must hold because the rich donors who support them own the businesses that have most to gain from denying what almost everyone else in the world thinks is obvious. The world is on fire. Drowning. Slowly wiping out species after our species, and our species, allegedly the smartest of all, carries on at the behest of the worst kinds of businessmen—most of whom were probably at this summer’s World Cup at the invite of the aforementioned bully Donald, and were probably pitched to by Infantino and his horde of money-grubbing minions under the motto ‘absolutely anything can be accommodated’.
