The Strawberry

This well loved pub is situated next to St. James’ Park, beloved home of Newcastle United’s army of ever optimistic worshippers. Inside it’s all bare floorboards and big wooden tables etc with loads of NUFC related bumf festooning the walls. As you’d expect, it does a roaring trade on match days, but during the week it gets pretty busy too with a good mix of clientele enjoying a fine selection of ales and the food’s worth a go.
