Great North Museum: Hancock
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
Following new advice in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in line with other cultural organisations, they have taken the difficult decision to close the Great North Museum: Hancock from 5pm on Wednesday 18 March.
This is provisionally until 1 May 2020 but they will be reviewing the situation and updating if anything changes. Please sign up to their emails at mustseemuseums.org.uk and check their social media channels and website so they can keep you up to date with what’s going on.

The Great North Museum: Hancock is an exciting and innovative world-class visitor attraction. Highlights include a large-scale interactive model of Hadrian’s Wall and major new displays showing the wonder and diversity of the animal kingdom, life and death in Ancient Egypt and spectacular objects from Ancient Greeks. There is also a planetarium, a life-size replica of a T.Rex dinosaur skeleton and much more.)
