The Crown

The Crown is a yellow pub, which means you get £1.50 a pint nights on a Monday; gay night on a Tuesday; rock night on a Thursday; and very lively people all throughout the weekend. It plays really big sing-a-longs and tunes that allow for a dangerous amount of air guitar. It is a harmonious place where students and non-students can strum on their air Fenders in peace. It’s open during the day and serves good pub food; nothing exotic, but nothing offensive, and great if you’re going hair-of-the-dog from the night before. Plus, it’s open until 2am every night, so The Crown is always there for you if you don’t want to do a Cinderella and go home at midnight.
