The Sunderland Arts and Culture Trail is returning to the city this July. Best foot forward…

This free, self-guided trail will see the work of around 40 local artists on display at more than 30 locations right across the city. Artists have been chosen by a panel of judges who opened up the competition to three age group categories with the theme for each being ‘Local Landscapes: Favourite Spaces in Sunderland’. All types of artworks were considered from paintings and sculptures through to installations and digital art. The project was created and curated by fine artists Dale Hardy and Su Devine, and Devine commented: “We have been overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm for the Sunderland Art and Culture Trail this year. With the diversity of artists and host venues involved, we hope to attract as many visitors as possible to The Trail to benefit everyone.”
