It's Time!

Newcastle is about to get a whole lot more colourful in July when a glorious smogasbord of Pride activities roll out across the city.

This year’s Pride has had a huge refresh and is working its way into every nook and cranny of the city centre with free zones for the full family at Northern Stage, Grey Street, Assembly Rooms, the Civic Centre and Northumbria Uni, covering all sorts of activities like dance parties, markets, arts and crafts, performers, sports and so much more. If a multi-genre series of concerts for Pride is more your thing, then get your tickets ASAP for Times Square, where performers such as Whigfield, Ginger Johnson (pictured) and Kelly Llorenna will all be doing their thing alongside some fantastic local artists, all of whom have one thing in mind: to keep you dancing and partying right across the weekend. I never miss this event and it’s truly inspiring to see how it’s grown year on year and continue to receive the massive support it surely deserves. MW
