Teesside University is the place to head on the last Friday in September if you’re hankering after those halcyon sounds of My Chemical Romance et al. I’m partial to a bit of Panic! At The Disco myself (“Haven’t you people ever heard of closing the goddamn door?”) and no doubt they’ll also be getting a spin at this night which is going under the banner: Black Parade. I’m sure we’ll also be regaled with bangers from Jimmy Eat World, Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, Paramore, All American Rejects, You Me At Six, Enter Shikari, A Day To Remember, Pierce The Veil, Dashboard Confessional, Good Charlotte, Death Cab for Cutie, and, well, I’m sure you get the picture. Should be kinda emotional. And black. DP
