Quite the Gathering
The Gathering Sounds festival is now being discussed in the same sort of hushed tones that The Great Escape in Brighton is talked about. And with little wonder. Held at multiple venues over the last Saturday in September, all manner of genres will be covered by the kind of artists that are worth getting excited about. Artists such as Komparrison (pictured). We’re huge fans of these incendiary rockers and they’re heading up The Georgian Theatre stage, a stage which will also host the likes of GIRLBAND, ZELA and Bedroom High Club. Also well worth checking is Newcastle’s hotly-tipped Andrew Cushin on the ARC stage. Over at KU, you can see the likes of The Skinner Brothers and The Clause, while ARC-2 have King No-One, Fever, Delights, Mollie Coddles and more. There are tonnes of acts playing this year, so be sure to check out their website for the full kit and caboodle. DP
