Fest of Fun

DTV Fest at Pop Recs in Sunderland is celebrating queer representation in the region by bringing together some of the hottest acts around.

Queer DIY record label Daemon TV is a huge boon for musicians in the LGBTQ+ community. It’s run by non-binary rocker Du Blonde who has gathered together an enticing line-up for this beautifully inclusive music festival. The night is headlined by pop-rock queen girli (pictured), and there will also be stuff from dance duo NIMMO; pop punk icons bigfatbig; rock-pop newbies The Timewasters; and a great set from DJ Samara. There will also be a pop-up from Tyne & Queer and a chance to support DTV through merch sales. The event is focused on accessibility for all, regardless of how much money you’ve got in your pocket. Get yourself down and support some amazing queer icons. MW
