Sooz in the House

Super-hot comedian and actor Sooz Kempner is hitting the road with her new show ‘Playstation’ and – praise be! – she’s swinging by The Stand in Newcastle.

Sooz Kempner isn’t having a moment; she’s having a goddamn tsunami. During lockdown she became something of a viral sensation, with her videos racking up hundreds of thousands of views (her Trump speeches – as performed by Liza Minnelli – were something to behold…). She’s a BBC Radio 4 regular and has just been signed up to appear in ‘Doom’s Day’, a multiplatform series coming later this year, which is part of Doctor Who’s 60th anniversary celebrations. Her recent and totally sold-out Edinburgh Festival residency won notable critical acclaim and now she’s hitting the road with her debut UK comedy tour entitled ‘Playstation’, a stand-up show that will see her exploring memories of growing up in the 90s through comedy anecdotes, song and multimedia accompaniments.
