The wonderful Catch 22 Comedy Club is back with a bang in 2023 with a stellar line-up that will have you laughing yourself inside out.

Sarah Millican is a huge fan of Hayley Ellis (pictured) and with little wonder. One of the best comedians to come out of the north-west in recent years she’s won all sorts of accolades, including from The Independent and The Mirror who’ve included her gags among their Funniest Jokes Of All Time lists. Ellis is comparing the first Catch 22 event at ARC in January and she will be in good company. Also on the bill is Lily Philips, one of the most exciting up and coming voices in comedy in the UK. She was a finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2021 and was part of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe a couple of years back. The line-up is completed by Perry Martin (you may remember him from his set at Beat the Gong) and Paul McCaffery. McCaffrey is one of the most in-demand headliners around and has toured with the likes of Sean Lock and Kevin Bridges. He’s also picked up awards by the score including Latitude’s New Act of the Year. Gonna be good? Gonna be great! DP
