‘The Lost Spells: Listening to a Landscape of Voices’ is an immersive exhibition featuring original artwork, soundscapes and interactive experiences.

‘The Lost Spells…’ features artwork and words by artist Jackie Morris and writer Robert Mcfarlane, which have been taken from their best-selling book ‘The Lost Spells’. The book – a follow-up to ‘The Lost Words’ – introduces a beautiful new set of natural spell-poems and artworks with each ‘spell’ conjuring an animal, bird, tree or flower. The exhibition will also feature an interactive touch screen that will let you create your own songs of nature using live recordings of wildlife, as well as a series of spoken word pieces that will create an ambient soundscape, letting visitors listen to what nature is telling us. I think we can safely stamp this innovative show with a firm ‘Magical’. JL
