If These Walls Could Talk...

One of the region’s most iconic buildings, Seaton Delaval Hall is playing host to an immersive theatrical experience like no other. Brace yourself for ‘The Unlocked Door’.

‘The Unlocked Door’ promises to be one of the real theatrical highlights of the autumn season. It’s being presented by November Club (in collaboration with Circus Central and the Spin City Crew DJ collective) and will take place in the Hall’s spaces as a host of characters – some real, some imagined – take audiences on a journey over 300 years of history. And boy – do they have some stories to tell!

Joe Hufton, Artistic Director of the November Club, has real form when it comes to this sort of stuff having worked with Les Enfants Terribles – known for the Olivier Award-nominated ‘Alice’s Adventures Underground’. Seaton Delaval Hall’s General Manager, Emma Thomas, cooed: “The Unlocked Door is a bold and immersive experience that will showcase the spaces that have recently been transformed. Working in partnership with November Club is a great way of introducing new audiences to some of the histories of Seaton Delaval Hall. We’re also delighted that Circus Central and the Spin City DJ crew are part of the event.”
