Just when you thought that August couldn’t get any hotter, Pressure Drop is set to return to the Georgian Theatre in Stockton. Reggae fans! Get ready to stomp!

If there’s any genre that particularly suits the summer months then it’s surely reggae. There’s just something about those beats that go with the balmiest time of year. And one of the best proponents of said beats is the long-running Pressure Drop night at the lovely Georgian Theatre. If you’ve not yet sampled its myriad of delights, then you should know it’s a night dedicated to the best in boss reggae, ska, soul, rocksteady and R&B – all played on original vinyl. Guests so far confirmed for their summer party include Dave Mack (The Cool Off – Sheffield), Ivan (Pressure Drop – Barcelona), and Dave Kal (Pressure Drop – Birmingham). Oh – and taking up mic duties will be the one and only Champion (Tighten Up Crew – London). Get set to sizzle. GM
