June’s bustin’ out all over

One of the UK’s foremost nature artists Mary Ann Rogers is launching her summer exhibition ‘True Colours’ in June.

What’s more, Mary Ann Rogers is launching this exuberant show with a special preview weekend where you can grab a glass of bubbly while you browse these new works that will be spread throughout the gallery, and home, of the artist, before taking tea on the lawn (or marquee if the weather isn’t clement). The award-winning Rogers is a true master of her medium and has work hanging in galleries throughout the UK. Nature is her thing and this show will feature landscapes, hares, hounds, guinea fowl, dancing daffodils, furtive foxes, and more. She’s an artist who really knows how to make her subjects sing and if you’ve not previously seen her work in the flesh, then consider this your official invitation.

True Colours opening weekend, Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 June, Mary Ann Rogers Gallery, West Woodburn, Hexham, 3-6pm, all welcome. Exhibition continues to 10 July. Open daily. More info:
