When Marisa Met Moths

If someone could harness the sheer power of Merisa and the Moth’s raw sound then all of our energy problems would be solved at a stroke.

Marisa and the Moths play the kind of grunged-up-rock that would shove a bomb under any kind of mosh-pit, and they first came to many people’s attention back in 2019 when they unleashed ‘Skin’. It was a release that saw the band hit the ground running and featured sharp and well chunky riffs alongside the kind of fiery 90s grunge that isn’t afraid to untuck a shirt or two. They’re based in Reading and have been championed by the likes of Planet Rock and Radio 2’s Rock Show. The band also bagged themselves a spot on Kerrang!’s ‘Fresh Blood’ slot (where they were Artist of the Week), and they have also featured on Classic Rock magazine’s CD cover mount. After completing two UK headline tours, the band have already won themselves an army of fans, and they’ll undoubtedly be nabbing themselves plenty more with this current winter tour. Fans of Halestorm, Foo Fighters, PJ Harvey etc should prepare themselves for lift off. GM
