Mary Christmas!

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a whole bunch of open days from one of the region’s most beloved artists, Mary Ann Rogers.

Complimentary mulled wine! Mince pies! Bran tub! There’s absolutely nothing about Mary Ann Rogers’ open days that doesn’t scream – in its best Noddy Holder voice – “It’s Christmas!” An annual treat, these events feature new paintings, new prints and a veritable treasure trove of gift ideas including stationary, scarves, water bottles and tablewear. This year you’ll also be able to browse wares from Linden Craven Jewellery, Phil’s Firepits and Northumbrian Wreaths. If you’re not au fait with Mary Ann then you should know that she is one of the foremost wildlife artists working in the UK today and her studio, which is surrounded by the wild hills of Northumberland, is a real delight in itself. Get thee there.

Mary Ann Rogers: Christmas Open Days, 26-28 November, 4 & 5 December, 11 & 12 December, Mary Ann Rogers Gallery, West Woodburn, Hexham, NE48 2SE. More info:
