Radio Rooms Summer Gigs

The Radio Rooms in Berwick are re-opening this summer with a series of fantastic gigs, taking you on a journey through genres - from pop funk to reggae to traditional Northumbrian.

Kicking things off on Saturday 5th June are Pensacola Mist (pictured), a bittersweet synth-pop duo inspired by the nostalgic romance of the 80s and catchy modern pop. They will explore how technology can be used to enhance modern live music; sharing examples of their influences. Followed by their trademark sensory blowing live performance.

On Friday 11th June Crown of Feathers present Pop Funk. Iain Petrie, with help from ‘Crown of feathers’ will take a dive into songwriting in the mystical realm of soul and funk. They will create a song ‘on the fly’ and with more than a little help from you, the audience. Followed by a performance by ‘Crown of Feathers'.

Another highlight is Electro: Let's Hear It For The Girls! on Saturday 19th June. This all female line-up of DJ's lef by 'Cyndi Wallauper' will start with a presentation about their journeys into the field of electronic music; followed by DJ sets to get you dancing into the night.
