April sees TUSK Festival launch TUSK Editions, a monthly digital publication that merges the old school record club idea with the current evolution of digital publishing and music releasing in the age of Covid/Brexit.

TUSK Editions will launch with the first collaborative album by renowned Tyneside electronic producers Stephen Bishop (Opal Tapes) and Mariam Rezaei, an exclusive track from the legendary Jim O’Rourke, an intercontinental mix from the Hive Mind Records label, an essay on the legendary William Parker by writer Stewart Smith, lockdown thoughts from our first TUSK TV host Jennifer Lucy Allan and more.

Also on April 2, TUSK will be launching TUSK TV featuring all the diverse musical brilliance you'd expect in one potent monthly microdose. Each show will be around 5 hours in length and totally free to view, repeated on a 12 hour delay again to maximise overseas view-ability and then added to TUSK's online archive.

Featuring in Episode 1, presented by writer/presenter Jennifer Lucy Allan (BBC Radio3 etc) will be free jazz hero William Parker, US rapper Nappy Nina, Italian percussionist Valentina Magaletti and Norwegian skronk supergroup SPUNK.
