SHANTI Bee, a not for profit Yoga Studio and Well Being Centre in Newcastle, are running a free month long online project, Shanti Hibernation.

Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, the project aims to help those with chronic, physical and emotional health issues with a series of holistic health activities run by specialised practitioners.

Friendly classes and workshops will support strength building, improve fitness, improve sleep and cope with managing emotions, reduce anxiety and help with pain management.

Activities will include Restorative Yoga for Pain Relief, Breathing for Awareness, Movement Therapy, Laughter Yoga and Trauma Sensitive Yoga for Chronic fatigue and Fibromyalgia including long Covid.

The activities on offer will support confidence building and provide a platform to connect with others going through similar difficulties.

If you are managing a chronic, physical or emotional health issue or unable to access well being courses because of financial reasons you can register for the free project on the website or contact them directly.
