The immersive club night Foreverland are hitting Newcastle in February with their ‘Cosmic Circus’ extravaganza.

Foreverland are not shy when it comes to ramping up the audio/visual delights. And they’ll be celebrating their 5th anniversary in grand style with ‘Cosmic Circus’ – a space rave, if you will – that will include all manner of frivolity. I’m talking mesmerising stage performances, walkabout characters (hello extra-terrestrial beings!), outlandish décor, cosmic confetti explosions, intergalactic glitter stations (whatever the hell they are) and space themed inflatables. Oh – there will also be music too with a whole bunch of top-notch DJs spinning a well fruity mix of house, bass, garage and drum and bass. At the time of writing the roster hadn’t been announced but previous guests have includes the likes of Macky Gee, Shy FX, Flava D and High Contrast (i.e. no slouches when it comes to party-starting). Expect this one to be literally out of this world (note: not literally).

Foreverland: Cosmic Circus, Saturday 22 February, Digital, Times Square, Newcastle, 10pm, £10-£27.50. theforeverland.com
