losthappey20.jpg Wanted! Happy Endings!

balletLORENT’s latest, ‘The Lost Happy Endings’ is packing a significant amount of talent and its coming to Darlington this February.

‘The Lost Happy Endings’ was a real wow when it premiered at Northern Stage last year and it’s set to work its magic at the Darlington Hippodrome this February. The tale is set deep in the forest. This is the home of Jub, a magical girl with six fingers on each hand. Her job is to guard the Happy Endings to all the stories and fairytales. But one day an otherworldly witch nabs them, and at bedtime the stories are destroyed. Oh no! Goldilocks changed the locks on the cottage of the three bears; Cinderella’s foot is now too big for the glass slipper; Little Red Riding Hood is gobbled up by the wolf; and Pinocchio’s nose never stops growing. As the witch starts a monstrous fire with her stolen booty it falls to Jub to rewrite the tales and let children dream of new and surprising endings. This super family show is full of energy, emotion and visual magic.

The Lost Happy Endings, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February, Darlington Hippodrome, 7.30pm (2.30m Sunday), £18-£22. darlingtonhippodrome.co.uk
