The multi-award winning jazz artist and BBC Radio 2 presenter Clare Teal will be celebrating the golden age of song at Gala Theatre in Durham this February.

Clare Teal has plenty of famous fans all too happy to sing her praises. Jamie Callum frothed: “Clare has a timeless sound to her voice and a classic touch. Music to melt too.” Bublé burbled: “Ladies and gents, I’d like to introduce someone that I’m a fan of. She’s a threat! And when I say a threat, she’s a triple threat – she writes! She sings!” And on her latest tour Teal will be backed by the trio of Jason Rebello on keyboards, Simon Little on double bass, and Ben Reynolds on drums. Their brand new show promises a rich jazz infused repertoire in its many forms bringing you more exhilarating swing as she celebrates 100 years of pop music, with some of the greatest songs ever written culled from the Great American and British songbooks, as well as more contemporary stuff celebrating the new standards of today.
