coremusicxmas.jpg So much more than a music shop

Core Music in Hexham has had another stellar year in their drive to make music accessible to everyone.

Core Music has been around for eleven years now, which I reckon bestows a fixtures and fittings status upon it. People, of all ages and abilities, continue to flock to this not-for-profit organisation to take part in their workshops, music clubs, sessions and tutorials. They have a shop too – stocking everything anyone who likes making music is ever going to need – and, needless to say, they have an unsurpassed personal service offering advice, aftercare and in-store repairs. And with Christmas on the horizon they’re not only selling gifts in the form of instruments and accessories, but also music experiences: everything from taster sessions to getting the chance to record that special song with expert guidance, or maybe even the chance to play your favourite track with some of the finest session musicians in the area. Find out more about all the good stuff that Core Music do from the websites, below (or, hey, pop in and see them – they’re a very friendly bunch).
