The joyful Christmas adventure that is ‘Jack Frost’ is coming to the Gosforth Civic Theatre in December. Brrriliant!

If you’re looking for the ideal theatrical treat to take your children aged 4+ in that tricky period between Christmas and New Year, then roll up, roll up. ‘Jack Frost’ is a music filled Christmas show about friendship and the joy of joining in. The plot? Holly, a student who is a dab hand on the trumpet, befriends the magical winter sprite Jack Frost. We follow Holly’s adventure into the ice-covered world of the mischievous yet lonely Jack. When plans for Holly’s school concert go awry, together Holly and Jack try to make sure no one is left outside this Christmas. In the run up to the big day the Gosforth Civic Theatre is also screening a number of festive faves including ‘The Snowman’ on Sunday 15 December (at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm), which will be preceded by crafting mini snow people, playing with snow dough, scribbling on their giant drawing floor and frolicking in the snow; ‘Arthur Christmas’ on Sunday 22 December (11am & 1.30pm); and ‘Love Actually’ on Sunday 22 December (5pm).
