etsy19.jpg Have yourself an Etsy little Xmas

For the third year running the Newcastle Etsy team is setting up shop in, hey, Newcastle. Get yourself along to check out goodies from a plethora of local creative types.

And among those showing and selling their wares this year will be the fabulous Whitley Bay company Cire. They make the most delectable bags and accessories from organic cotton, which has been hand waxed and hand sewn (pictured). Also along for the ride will be Scout & Rae, who make clothing that is handcrafted in Newcastle using organic, recycled and plant-based fabrics. Samantha Lois Illustrations will also be on hand with intricately designed art and accessories for both you and your home. Primarily specialising in the use of epoxy resin, she hand pours and hand finishes each piece individually, making each item completely unique. There’s two separate events happening this year and they’re just part of a national weekend that will see cities from coast to coast celebrating the makers, designers and collectors that make up the creative community selling on etsy.com. Bargain hunters: prepare to let something unique and affordable into your life.
