susiemccabe19.jpg Now with added positivity

Susie McCabe has always been something of an optimistic cynic but now, in her 40th year, she’s preparing to embrace all the good things in life.

It’s probably no surprise to anyone who has caught her act but Susie McCabe has been the fastest-selling act at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival three years running. Her rise through the ranks of stand-up has been nothing short of meteoric. Her brilliant storytelling, acute observations and killer punchlines have made her one of the most sought-after performers in the UK. She has supported the likes of Jason Manford, Ardal O’Hanlon and Zoe Lyons on their national tours and is a firm Edinburgh Fringe favourite. She’s adept at ranting about the fuck-ups of society – albeit with her trademark warm cheeriness – but for her latest tour she’s decided to try and ditch the cynicism and go all for all-out positivity. Is that even possible?
