Are you ready for a journey to A+E in Darlington? WELL ARE YOU?

A+E is the new, hospital-themed night, which has just launched at Seen in Darlington. Debuting only last month, A+E promises to be “a musical haven where the scuzziest of alt tunes rub shoulders with brain melting electronica”. The event has secured the services of Le Verne (Digital) who will now spend his Thursday nights administering feel-good tunes in Seen’s ‘Emergency Room’ which looks set to play a very danceable assortment of alternative and indie, from old Clash classics to the freshest, Foals-iest releases. Meanwhile, DJ Sam Gamesby (Pull Up Wheel Up, Middlesbrough) is the doctor on call in the Psyche Ward, prescribing a collection of songs which are less obscure and brain melting than the name of the room may suggest. The usual suspects, SBTRKT (pictured), Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Justice will surely feature, ensuring the night will be accessible to all. Medication seems heavily subsidised too, ensuring great deals all night with £1 shots and £2 doubles. And by shots we don’t mean the MMR jab…

A+E, every Thursday, Seen, Beaumont Street, Darlington, 10pm-2.30am, £3.
