Kemp! Caulker! Class!
To help me write these words I’ve fired up Spotify to listen to one of the best songs to come out of the 1980s: Spandau Ballet’s ‘Chant No. 1’ (“I don’t need this pressure on, I don’t need this pressure on, I don’t need this pressure on” etc). It’s an amazing track and I’m sure Spandau’s Martin Kemp won’t feel shy about playing one of his own songs at this night. Other tracks I’m expecting him to play? Haircut 100’s ‘Fantastic Day’ is a must and it wouldn’t be a 1980s night without S’Express’s ‘Theme from S’Express’. And if the prospect of all that lot wasn’t enough to get you nice and frothy then you should also know that World Headquarters’ Tommy Caulker will be warming everyone up with a – Get This! – 1970s set. Imagine! Make sure you wear your dancing trousers.
