Fat White Family
For their third album The Fat White Family have taken everything that was good about themselves – uncompromising, don’t mind a bit of a literate rant – and made it even more so. What they havedone is ironed out some of their lo-fi kinks and upped their mutant groove quotient. ‘Kim’s Sunsets’ sounds like a blissy Public Image Limited while ‘Feet’ even has an Americana widescreen thing going on. Their best yet? I’m definitely calling it.
