acdctshirt.jpg This summer drop some acid

Vanilla Underground have introduced a new range of officially licensed acid wash band t-shirts for women. Rock chic? Rock chick, more like.

Once, when I was a teenager, I was walking round town in an AC/DC t-shirt and this fat fella shouted over to me: “Are you, then?” “Am I what?” I replied. “You know? AC/DC?” “Wouldn’t you like to know,” I snorted, while thinking, “you’d like to know, I’d like to know. What the hell does it mean? Something sordid judging by the angle of his leer.” I waltzed off to make tentative enquiries. Turns out it’s a slang term for bisexual which, If I’d of known, I could have informed fatty that I’m usually straight, but entirely gay if the alternative was sea monsters like himself. No matter.

AC/DC have one of the great band logos - it’s just BOOM, have some of that – and they share this trait along with plenty of other rock bands including Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones (who just need lips and tongue to get their message over), Black Sabbath and Slipknot who are splashed all over Vanilla Underground’s new range of tees. Each t-shirt comes in charcoal black with a distressed acid wash finish, round neck, roll back sleeve detail and standard women’s fit. For those about to rock this look, I salute you.
