The gayest ghost story ever told

‘A Queermas Carol’ is coming to Alphabetti Theatre in Newcastle, which is promising less humbugs and rather more joy and gay tidings.

Mack and Mama Rhi are back again with their usual hijinks, this time in a big Christmas way! Throw out what you know about the Dickens’ classic and strap in, because Marley and Marley’s cabaret bar is now open for visitors who can grab themselves a little bit of nostalgia, a whole lot of queer, and plenty of twists and surprises. Following on from last year’s huge success with ‘Patti Boo-Rae’s Little Miss Christmas’, Alphabetti are cementing their place in Newcastle’s festive line-up as a welcoming, warm and wonderful alternative to the more usual pantos. And – lordy, lordy! – each night of ‘A Queermas Carol’ a different guest artist will be taking the role of The Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come. MW
