There are few things better than when fashion collides with some serious good in the world, which is why we’re all over Neuthread, the brand-new initiative from Daisy Chain.

If you’re unfamiliar with Daisy Chain’s work, it grew from a small community initiative into a national charity empowering autistic and neurodivergent individuals through holistic, person-centred services. Offering therapeutic and community facilities, the charity supports over 8,000 families and individuals annually with services including social clubs, respite care, wellbeing programmes, employability training, and animal therapy. And now, to help further the good they do, Daisy Chain has launched Neuthread, which redefines sustainability in style. After debuting at Northern Fashion Week 2023, and later gracing the runway at London Fashion Week 2024, Neuthread takes discarded fabrics headed for landfill, and transforms them into unique, high-fashion pieces. The name plays on the word “neu,” reflecting the brand’s commitment to supporting neurodivergent people, and they reuse existing fibres and textiles to reduce waste and carbon emissions, as well as conserving water, energy, pollution and chemicals.
