The Globe’s Halloween specials are justifiably legendary and this year’s party will be all kinds of incredible with synthwave heroes Pensacola Mist bringing the spooky vibes.

Pensacola Mist are epic. It’s all in their glorious tunes. And their extravagant synths. And their general 1980s style goodness. But don’t just take my word for it. Ask anyone who attended The Globe’s 10th anniversary celebrations in April where the band went down a veritable storm. And it seems that plenty of others are also cottoning on to the fact that Pensacola Mist are one of the UK’s hottest synthwave acts right now, with both BBC Radio 6 and BBC Introducing giving them national airplay. What’s more their Halloween shows have become real “must see” events as they knock out their favourite live tracks alongside an eclectic bunch of covers from artists such as CHVRCHES, Kate Bush and The Weeknd, along with their take on legendary horror themes from Saw, The Exorcist and Halloween. Fancy dress – of course – is encouraged for a night that will definitely be more treat than trick. DP
