Carluccio’s

Brand new and very popular place which is open from 8am (9am Sunday) for breakfasts (croissants, eggs florentine etc) and serves right through until 11pm (10pm Sunday) with a fabulous range including glorious fish dishes (try the sea bass with crushed potatoes, fennel, olives and capers), meat (their chargrilled rib-eyed steaks take some beating) and, of course, plenty of pasta dishes. Desserts? I’d go for their warm chocolate pudding baked with almonds and kahlua and served with vanilla ice-cream. Scrummy!
