Temenos

This incredible piece of public art by internationally acclaimed sculptor Anish Kapoor and leading structural designer Cecil Balmond (them what built Orbit — that huge red swirling tower in London’s Olympic Park), stands almost 50 metres high and 120 metres long. It rubs up against the Transporter Bridge and the Riverside Stadium as one of the defining icons of the town. The Dock has been cleaned up wonderfully in recent years and makes for an ideal evening stroll.
