Just so you know, this is, without exaggeration, the best Chinese restaurant on Teesside. And I’m not only saying that because they put it on their adverts. Don’t be tempted by safe favourites (sweet ‘n’ sour, black bean sauce etc.), this joint is run by folks from the Chinese mainland, who cook a stack of dishes you’ve probably never tried, but will definitely love. Try the double-cooked pork, the braised aubergines in sweet chilli sauce and the salty fried squid. Do it. Now.
