Music Venues

Morden Tower

mordentower.jpg Morden Tower is a well-established poetry (and music) venue that was initiated in the 1960s playing host to such greats as Allen Ginsberg, Seamus Heaney and Ted Hughes. A friendly and mixed audience gather regularly in this ancient meeting-place (it’s part of the original city walls dating back to 1290) to listen to a wide range of contemporary poets as well as occasional music nights.
