(Preview: Friday, 12th July, 6pm-10pm) Flavio Morais is an internationally commissioned Brazilian artist who makes a welcome return to ¡VAMOS! – this time presenting an exhibition of new and recent work titled ‘Inutensilios’ featuring delicate wooden sculptures, detailed pen illustrations and minute drawings. The exhibition is focussed on the concept of playfulness and creativity for its own sake. Flavio states it is essential to get lost inside of oneself, creating space to do nothing or what’s deemed ‘useful’. With this collection, he celebrates activity or expression without profit or benefit.
