The Historical Combat company take over the fort with a variety of costumed historical interpreters, storytellers and heritage craft artists to pay homage to the Roman Emperor Hadrian. Browse the Roman Market, watch the action in the arena as the Gladiators train and fight, have a go at archery or get involved in the hands-on craft activities all from historical tents.
