Cheeseburn is open for six weekends a year with each featuring a carefully selected exhibition, alongside some sixty other sculptures situated within ten acres of landscaped gardens. Simon Hitchens presents a solo exhibition of sculpture, drawing and film showcasing the artists fascination with our human relationship to rock and the natural world. In 2018 Simon made a proposal which was selected for the Elizabeth Landmark project at Cold Law in Northumberland and the exhibition at Cheeseburn will also feature the model and proposals for this ambitious 55m tall artwork.
