You are invited to discover an alternative landscape where the structures of urban development become the stuff of play. Explore a maze, build a tower, climb a sculpture and reclaim the city as a space for fun. The City Is Where We're Going Next explores artists Simon and Tom Bloor’s ongoing interest in the urban environment and the potential of cities as spaces for play. The exhibition takes its title from American landscape architect and urban playground designer M. Paul Freidberg’s idea of ‘enjoying the city – taking landscape architecture away from this preconceived notion that the city is a hostile place… to me the city is where we're going next.’
