brinkcans19.jpg Cheers to Brinkburn!

There’s some exciting things going on at Brinkburn St. Brewery Bar & Kitchen, but then again, when isn’t there?

And among the good stuff coming out of Brinkburn is their new range of ‘Art-Beer-Culture’ cans (pictured). The cans feature the work of local artist Robert Dolman and include Alternate Perspectives (cherry and white grape sour - brewed with Amarillo and Galena hops to enhance the flavour of the fresh cherries added in the kettle. Sauvignon Blanc grape juice added in the fermenter makes this the perfect summer sour), Ponders #1 (cherry and white grape IPA - brewed with Amarillo and Galena hops, the beer is dry-hopped with Amarillo for the perfect fruity and hoppy summer IPA), Transgress (raspberry milkshake IPA – brewed with brewers Gold and Galena hops) and Framboise Acide (raspberry milkshake sour). That’s the drinks side of things. You should also know that they’re doing a retro market fair on Saturday July 20 from 10am to 4pm. This will see top venders selling vinyl records, vintage clothing, collectables and memorabilia. There will also be a range of free retro games available to play and competitions all day. Looking further ahead they’re also holding their first music festival in Maling Hall on Saturday 7 September with five bands playing old skool, ska, punk, 60s, 70s and new wave stuff.
