Northern Pride are hosting their annual Black Tie Ball fundraiser on Friday 7 June which gets a “Woo Hoo!” from me.

The Northern Pride Festival is one of the UK largest free LGBT+ festivals and it will be back in July. But helping keep the festival free are events such as the Black Tie Ball which returns to the Crowne Plaza hotel in June. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal and entertainment including live music from north-east band SWITCH (pictured) and a disco until late. Ste Dunn, chair of Northern Pride: “We’re delighted to be hosting the Black Tie Ball for another year and can’t wait to show thanks to our sponsors and supporters. We have some fantastic entertainment lined up and SWITCH are great performers who are sure to get everyone up on their feet and dancing.” The Black Tie Ball is open to everyone and there a limited number of tickets still available.
