One of the most acclaimed stand-up comics of the new generation is Ivo Graham and he’s set to play The Stand in Newcastle this May.

There’s a fabulous routine of Ivo Graham’s up on YouTube which he delivered to the Oxford Union (he went to Oxford and Eton, something he likes to mention early in his sets “in case anyone was beginning to like me too much”). The debate is on ‘Does size matter?’ and Graham declares he is a tall man with a small penis. “People offer reassurances: it’s not the size of the boat, it’s the motion in the ocean. That’s pretty immaterial if the boat has remained steadfastly in harbour for the duration of its 22 years.” He became the first winner of So You Think You’re Funny in 2009 and has since gone up to become one of the leading lights on the scene, appearing on Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week and Live From The BBC. I caught his current hilarious show at the Gala Theatre in Durham in October and he’s now finally wended his way across the country to bring it to Newcastle. Don’t miss it.
