sound80sdec.jpg The 1980s gets festive

Sound of the Eighties is the popular club night held at The Georgian Theatre in Stockton and they’re rolling out the big guns in the run up to Christmas with a live performance from one of the very biggest bands of the decade.

Ladies! Gentlemen! Hang on to your legwarmers because one of the very biggest stadium bands of the eighties is set to grace the stage of the Georgian Theatre in December. It’s only ruddy U2! Bono! Edge! The other ones! They will all be there in person and ready to hit you up with ‘Pride (In The Name of Love)’, ‘With or Without You’, ‘I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For’, ‘Where the Streets Have No Name’, ‘Desire’, ‘Angel of Harlem’ and the rest of their 1980s biggies. (Legal note: It’s not really them. It’s Rattled and Hummin, who I’m told are, ahem, even better than the real thing). Not only that, the Sound of the Eighties DJs will also be hand to really make the night go with a swing with some of the best party tunes the decade has to offer. Should be the very opposite of po-faced.
