House icon in the area
Allister Whitehead is one of the true legends of dance music with a career that stretches right back to 1987. He achieved cult status at the Golden, which was voted club of the year in 1993, and he followed that with a residency at Liverpool superclub Cream. He then secured regular slots at Ministry of Sound, Gatecrasher and just about any top club in the UK that you’d care to mention. His worldwide fame was secured with the release of Fantazia collection ‘The House Collection 3’ which became the biggest selling DJ compilation of the 1990s. These days he is in huge demand around the world and it’s great news that he’s found time in his busy schedule to head to the north-east coast. Expect the best in deep and soulful house with side orders of funky and retro.
