northernexposure18.jpg Live electronica & techno. Oh my!

Northern Exposure at Independent in Sunderland this April will feature two incredible live acts pushing all your buttons as well as a DJ set from Cass Lamb. Beezer!

The region’s underground electronic and techno scenes are in the rudest of health at the moment, a fact that will become glaringly obvious when Tunnel Club present their latest party, Northern Exposure, in Sunderland this April. Playing the host with the most will be Tunnel Club themselves, an outfit feted for their old-skool flecked techno vibes. Also on the bill is Ako (pictured) from Newcastle’s Kaneda Records, who will be bringing a devastating selection of twisted textures and proper bass. Lighting the touch-paper for the night will be DJ Cass Lamb with an eclectic selection of underground gems. And the cost to you? Three quid in advance. Not a misprint. Three.

Northern Exposure, Saturday 21 April, Independent, 27-28 Holmeside, Sunderland, 7pm, £3 adv (more on the door). independentsunderland.com
