soulshoe18.jpg Keeping the faith into 2018

Hey! Fancy wearing some shoe leather out at a northern soul fundraiser that is coming to The Cluny in early February?

This should be a really canny night as not only will there be plenty of DJ action, but there are a couple of bands playing too. I’m talking The Odels, the very excellent Newcastle band who knock out soul covers and Thee Strawberry Mindie with their garage/mod sound. Taking to the decks will be Mark “Bazza” Barret, Suzanne Kramer and Terrence McBernie. It’s all in aid of the north-east branch of Helping Pets. Entirely run by volunteers, they take in at risk pets, often at an owners request if they feel that they can no longer care for them, as well as abandoned animals, many of whom are given away free to a good home. So a fantastic night of northern soul/mod sounds for a fantastic cause. Job’s a good ‘un.
